Where We Go is a body of work that addresses and contemplates the ways people experience the natural world. I am interested in authentic experiences and the ways we directly interact with our surroundings. Working in national, state or local parks, I am looking at the historic and contemporary ways people have traveled through and experienced the outdoors.
The Arizona landscape that I live in is full of rich contradictions and divine beauty. It is a harsh and dangerous landscape that has been home to humans for longer than areas that appear more hospitable and friendly.
